Frequently asked questions

I deleted a photo by mistake — can I get it back?

Yes, for about 30 days. Open Apple's Photos app → Collections → Utilities → Recently Deleted, select the photo and tap “Recover”. After that period, iOS deletes it permanently.

Giga can't see my photos

Check the access permission: iOS Settings → Giga → Photos, then choose “Full Access”. With limited access, Giga can only analyze the photos you have selected.

The figures don't match the “Photos” line in my iOS settings

That's expected. Giga measures the true weight of your photo library — what deletion removes from your library and your iCloud quota. If “Optimize iPhone Storage” is enabled, your iPhone only stores lightweight versions locally: the “Photos” line in iOS settings can therefore be much smaller than your library's real weight.

How do I restore my Premium subscription on a new iPhone?

Open Giga → Settings → “Restore purchases”, while signed in to the same Apple account used for the original purchase.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Giga, or from Giga → Settings → “Manage subscription”. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. For a refund request, use reportaproblem.apple.com.

How do I turn off anonymous statistics?

Giga → Settings → toggle off “Share anonymous statistics”. Your photos are never transmitted either way — statistics on or off (see our privacy policy).
